Target Audience Feedback

In order to be sure that we received a small amount of feedback i asked a few members of my family and friends to give comments on the rough cut we had produced, however to ensure we got the best feedback we could we needed to make sure that we had reliable, accurate feedback from the audience the video is actually aimed at. I needed to ensure that we had a large amount of feedback from 16-19 year olds, mostly female from the indie subculture, young teens who are interested in the indie pop genre needed to be the ones leaving us feedback.

I created a survey on survey monkey as it is a online site that allows me to post the link, this is just what i need as i was able to post it on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook three of the main social networks. To start with i posted the link to the video and survey on my social networks, this allowed people my age, 18, to comment on the video this was a way of reaching some of the target audience. The link to the survey is below, if you want to take a look at the questionnaire i created;

I also then went through Simons social networking sites so i could ensure that i had feedback from the direct audience, i started off by tweeting Simon and tagging him in the links so it would appear on his news feed, i also then contacted a few of his followers and friends direct so i could ensure i had enough feedback.

I received feedback from Simon direct through twitter.

Simon filled out the survey I created, as well as many other people that are in the target audience, I collected the data from survey monkey a week later. I also collected the feedback from you tube that people had posted.

Below are some screen shots from You Tube:

As many people answered the survey i created i have created another post with all of the results on. As a group we used the information we received from the feedback to make changes to the final video.
